We are delighted to be welcoming Steve Page to Cambridge this autumn, when he will be facilitating a unique workshop on two vital but often neglected or misunderstood dimensions of supervisory work. This event is aimed primarily at supervisors working with counsellors, coaches, therapists and other health professionals.

Steve is well-known as co-originator with Val Wosket of the cyclical model of supervision (Supervising the Counsellor and Psychotherapist, now in its third edition – 2014) and as author of the ground-breaking text The Shadow and the Counsellor (1999). He brings a wealth of varied experience gained from four decades in the helping professions as well as considerable expertise in training and facilitating. Numbers are limited – we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Two ways to pay: Download the booking slip and send us a cheque, or use the PayPal button below. We will reply promptly by email to confirm your booking with a receipt.

CPD events. Robin Group

A lively and diverse group of 25 counselling and coaching supervisors from across the region took part in a stimulating experiential day (part of our Diploma course) with Robin Shohet (centre, above) at our training venue in Thriplow. On this workshop, aptly entitled Passionate Group Supervision, Robin demonstrated and explained his powerful approach to group supervision with great depth, clarity and humour. Participants' evaluations of the workshop were extremely positive, and we very much look forward to working with Robin in Cambridge again in the not too distant future!

Robin Shohet is probably best known as co-author with Peter Hawkins of the seminal text Supervision in the Helping Professions (first published in 2000, now in its fourth edition). He is also editor of Passionate Supervision (JKP 2008) and Supervision as Transformation: A Passion for Learning (JKP 2011). Robin's workshop for CST was on 21 November 2015.
